Addie turned 3 months today. I packed up all of her 0-3 months clothes this week, as she has already grown into her 3-6 month attire. Her new favorite thing to do is cry when you leave her alone, and then immediately smile when you come back into her view. She is already turning into a drama queen...Born on February 19th, 2010 at 3:01 pm. She weighed 8 lbs, 3 oz, and was 19 inches long.

Getting big!
It is amazing how much Addie has grown in less then three months! Her latest trick is blowing spit bubbles (her new favorite past time as you can see by her soaking wet shirt). This was my first full week at home with Addie by myself and we kept busy going for walks and playing outside. Addie got to go on her first boat ride as well. Brad organized a trip over to Fisher's Island, about 2 miles offshore, with his office and their familes. We went over and enjoyed a bar-b-que at the Coast Guard station. We hope she liked it, becuase now that the weather is getting better we will be out on our boat as much as possible!

Double Digits
Addie was measured at 23 inches and 11 lb., 2 oz. yesterday at her appointment. She is in the 75th percentile for her age and is doing very well. She ended up getting three shots... She was a little sore last night but is back to her regular self today.
Sorry Marisa.... She's a Sox fan....

May Adventures
Here are some pictures from the latest Addie adventures. This weekend we said goodbye to Aunt Mo and Auntie Minnie and experimented with some prospective Addie hairstyles. This Friday was the first time Brad and I have had Addie without any help for two months. We were lucky to have so much help these past weeks, and thanks to everyone who came to CT to visit! It is amazing how fast she is growing. She has another doctors appointment tomorrow, with her first shots on schedule, so hopefully she does not cry for too long! Now that I am done with school for the summer, we will be spending lots of time on walks and going to the beach. Addie will be taking her first plane ride to Chicago the end of this month, and she is looking forward to meeting the rest of her family.

Hiccups
Adelaide had a nice weekend with her new friends who came to town to visit. She is getting to be more fun everyday and she is a really well-behaved baby. Her aunts Mary and Maura are staying at the house and spoiling her to death. Take a look at our latest video of Addie watching tv with the hiccups. You'll have to turn your head since I recorded it sideways... sorry.

Addie is Two Months Old

Today is Adelaide's two month birthday. Its amazing how much she has grown (to an unofficial weight of 11 lbs). Her little personality is starting to show as she figures out the things she likes and the things she doesn't...
Grammy and Grand Dude will be leaving in a few days, we are sure going to miss their babysitting and help around the house. We are looking forward to having Aunt Maura and Autie Minnie here by the end of the week.

Smiley Adelaide
Its hard to believe, but Adelaide is almost eight weeks old. She is really starting to realize her surroundings and is smiling at everything. She entertains herself for extended periods of time by laughing at lights and making faces at her 'ugly ladies' in her crib.
Addie made her first outing to the aquarium last night and had a blast staring at the fish swimming in circles. She is a really cute kid who is starting to show off her personality.

Happy Easter

Adelaide celebrated her six week birthday on Friday. We said goodbye to our baptism visitors as we welcomed Grammy and Grandude who arrived after a four-day drive from Colorado. We have been enjoying the beautiful spring weather by taking family walks and we even were able to eat Easter dinner on the porch. Addie is doing wonderful and is probably almost 10 lbs.
